TPAS is an active and enthusiastic group whose aim is to make astronomy accessible to everyone. We are based in the lovely dark skies of Wairarapa. Our clubrooms are located at Stonehenge Aotearoa, however we have meetings and observations in other locations as well
We have a recreational observatory containing a variety of telescopes and our members are generous in sharing their knowledge. We hold monthly meetings featuring interesting presentations ranging anywhere from 'why is Neptune blue' through to latest research on pulsars or the ever expanding universe. Weather permitting the meeting is followed by observations of the night sky. We produce a monthly bulletin featuring latest astronomy information and images
