TPAS is an active and enthusiastic group whose aim is to make astronomy accessible to everyone. We are based at Stonehenge Aoteoroa, in Carterton in the lovely dark skies Wairarapa.
We have a recreational observatory containing a variety of telescopes and our members are generous in sharing their knowledge. We hold monthly meetings featuring interesting presentations ranging anywhere from 'why is Neptune blue' through to latest research on pulsars or the ever expanding universe. Weather permitting the meeting is followed by observations of the night sky. We produce a monthly bulletin featuring latest astronomy information and images
